1. Check the oil level with the dipstick. If the oil level is below the lower mark on the dipstick, add lubricating oil to the upper mark.

2. Do not increase the load on the cooling machine, and the engine must be preheated 1 to 3 minutes in advance.

3. Engine running-in is very important. When a new engine is driven within 650 miles, the throttle should never be fully opened, and the gear should be changed at any time. Poor running-in will lead to more failures. During the running-in period, the engine oil should be changed every 185 miles or so; after 210 miles, adjustments should be made to compensate for slight wear during the running-in period to ensure good engine performance and extend its service life. For specific running-in requirements, please refer to the manual.

4. Idle speed adjustment

(1) Turn the idle screw clockwise to the position, then reverse 1 and 5/8 turns.

(2) Start the engine and preheat it to operating temperature, and adjust the idle speed to 1500r/min±100r/min using the throttle plunger fixing screw.

(3) Then turn the idle speed fine-tuning screw to bring the engine to the highest stable speed, and then readjust it to the specified 1500r/min±100r/min using the throttle plunger fixing screw.

5. Use of electric start

It is recommended to use the electric start in neutral. If the electric start is used in other gears, the brake must be applied at the same time.

If the battery is low, just drive a few miles after the battery is automatically charged.
